What we do

The modular offer of the SpreeHub is oriented towards the needs of our partners: They can participate in events or conduct them themselves, receive training on innovative methods, get input on current developments from applied research and apply them in joint projects on current issues of business practice, thus benefiting from the scientific expertise from teaching and research projects.
In addition, companies are networked with experts, talents and startups from the university via the SpreeHub.
  • SpreeBites: digital workshop series for managers of regional SMEs with Prof. Dr. Jürgen Radel
  • Expresso Lectures: short input from professors and researchers at HTW Berlin
  • Idea and innovation workshops with innovative methods and students of HTW Berlin
  • Conferences and impulse lectures on future developments and technologies
  • Modular workshops for the further education of professionals, with methods such as design thinking, scrum, hackathons, etc.
  • Creative exchange, networking and dialog formats

Communication is her passion and friends describe her as networking-queen. She is developing networks in the field of research and transfer for the University of Applied Sciences and is particularly thrilled about projects connecting different dis-ciplines and parties.
Sarah Mareike Lüking
Network and transfer management at SpreeHub
Sarah Mareike Lüking can hardly sit still and loves to be on the move. In private life she preferably is anywhere in the world or on the next trail. Professionally she works at the interface between science and economics since 2006 and is curious each day again about everything that has to do with new ideas, innovative methods as well as knowledge and technology transfer. At SpreeHub she manages the network and coordinates transfer and cooperations.

Network & partner

We are always looking for new ideas as well as spirit of innovation and finding both in our network. The versatile and numerous teaching, research and cooperation projects of the Uni-versity of Applied Sciences Berlin are generating a productive network of scientists, students, founders, economy, politics and administration. We are working themed and with partners depending on the event, for example with Berlin’s district Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Wista Ma-nagement GmbH, Berlin Partner for Business and Technology and many others.
